It was "bring out your dead" night as we brought our old, unloved bottles along to a blind tasting, as well as trying a new bottle from a distillery we'd never sampled before..

The sweet nose has barley sugars and cherry tunes alongside sunscreen while the minty fresh mouthwash counter-balances the old wardrobe must.

The French have burnt their toast in here with sweet maple syrup, cherry tunes, Werther's Originals, cola cubes and evaporated lime cordial thrown in to hide the taste - made all the better for some condensed milk. You can't refuse! On second thoughts...

The finish is disputed. Toasted marshmallows, grapefruit and a collection of honeycomb, old Crunchies and burnt sugar for some. For others, NOTHING!
