Meet Deets
Meet #100   |   17/11/18   |   Hosted by Phil
Our 100th Meet! We decamped to Falkland Palace for a weekend in a cottage and a crazy lineup of drams - but all for charity. A good way for SSWC to sign out :)
Other bottles sampled:

#241 Glen Grant 15yo CC | SSWC review 100b

Meet 100   |   Our final whisky was our priciest by far, but proceeds were for a good cause.   (4 photos)

Slightly cloying, sweet and sour. Tangeh. Dried leftover ketchup on a table at McDonalds. Herring, herby, out of date honey cough sweets.
Comments
Clean (like a whiste). Possibly the best old whisky I've ever had. Slightly cloying, sweet and sour. Slightly sickly vanilla - No way as good as the previous 1979 blend!
Cost
~£670 (70cl)
