Meet Deets
Meet #98   |   11/08/18   |   Hosted by Whisky Fringe
It was that time of year again - Whisky Fringe! This time we managed to do mini reviews of 5 drams, including something special direct from the cask...
Other bottles sampled:
#233 Daftmill Summer Release | SSWC review 98a
#234 Glen Scotia 1989 Cask | SSWC review 98b
#236 Bowmore 1997 Adelphi | SSWC review 98d
#237 Strathearn 3yo Oloroso | SSWC review 98e
Smells
Acrid. Sulfur. Silage. Vanilla, rum and raisin ice cream, a bit sickly sweet. Cupboards. Warehouse. New make. Dank. Sawdust, and burning brake disks.
Tastes
Toffee. Weird, vacant on the initial taste, a bit too sweet. Dry, winey. Glue. Unrepentant fruit. Not porty. Cocoa and bacon crisps.

Meet 98   |   This Dalmore wasn't a stand out per se, but we thought we could all get a dram!   (5 photos)
Finishes
