Tastes & Smells
Very new-makey on the nose, and obvious oak. It also smells somewhat toilet-y (not a good thing, just in case you needed that clarifying) and a fair bit like banana, plus a little like a salty fisherman. It tasted more minty, with a strong oakiness, definite aniseed and Brennivn - raw. That rawness translated to the finish, with a little lemon toffee and richness.
Graintacular?
I'll be honest, this was pretty rough. But rough in a very woody, fresh oak kinda way. If that's your bag, then it may appeal, but generally speaking this was as raw as its very young age suggests it would be. It was pretty intense to taste, and I went as far as saying 'horrible yet interesting' - they were the high points. We reviewed the Adnams Malt #1 with our whisky club, and it probably faired ever so slightly better - neither were that good.
Summary & Ramblings
The Brennivn flavour made me think of a Icelandic research trip, and the salty smells and minty taste conjured up imagery of seamen on a voyage. If that all sounds fun, then get ready for a raw shattering of your optimism - you may be on a trip, but this is nothing to write home about.

tldr;
Raw, fresh wood and not enough maturity for a grain whisky. Unfortunate toilet smells and a difficult palate made this no crowd-pleaser. It did have intensity and I will remember it, but not really for the right reasons.
